FHE BBQ

This past Monday we formed bonds and came together through food, games and sports. We all got the chance to get to know each other a little bit better and enjoy one another. We also had the opportunity to meet after church for break the fast where, once again, food brought us together. If you didn't make it this month, make an effort to make it next month-you won't regret it! (And who would pass up free food?!) Get active! Get to know those around you! And what a better way to do it than through the get-to-know-you activity tomorrow night! Meet at the church at 7:00p.m. and prepare yourself for a night of friendship and merrymaking :)

The Prophet Joseph Smith taught that “friendship is one of the grand fundamental principles of ‘Mormonism.'" That thought ought to inspire and motivate all of us because I feel that friendship is a fundamental need of our world. I think in all of us there is a profound longing for friendship, a deep yearning for the satisfaction and security that close and lasting relationships can give.
-Marlin K. Jensen, of the Presidency of the Seventy
